Rates
Translators' rates are determined by the number of words or lines and subject to the length and nature (digital form, legibility, layout) of the text as well as the difficulty level (technical/general text) and the necessary research work.
Interpreters' rates are based on daily rates and subject to the requested or appropriate form of interpretation (simultaneous or consecutive), to the duration of the job as well as to the difficulty level, e.g. of the technical language, of what is being said.
Please note that you will usually require two interpreters (the extremely demanding level of concentration that is required can only be maintained for a limited duration by an individual person) and that additional expenses may occur for the required technical equipment as well as for travel and accommodation expenses, depending on the type of interpretation you need.
